Eleanor's Legacy provided $36,950 in Campaign Grants to 106 candidates running for local office in 2011.
The 106 candidates come from 30 of New York State's 62 counties. In 10 years, Eleanor's Lgacy has awarded nearly $1 million to 1,151 candidates.
Just a few of the important races to watch on November 8 include:
- Sandy Frankel - Monroe County Executive
- Maria Whyte - Erie County Clerk
- Kara Hahn - Suffolk County Legislature
- Susan Skidmore - Mayor of Elmira, Chemung County
- Paula Mahan - Colonie Town Supervisor, Albany County
