The Eleanor Roosevelt Conference Committee, Inc.

The Eleanor Roosevelt Conference Committee (ERCC) is a not-for-profit organization incorporated under Section 402 of the Not-For-Profit Corporation Law on October 23, 2002. It is a Type A corporation under Section 202 of the New York State Not-For-Profit Corporation Law. The Internal Revenue Service Employer Identification Number is: 05-0537985. The IRS has recognized the ERCC as a 501 (c) 4 organization.

The purposes of the corporation are (i) to preserve the memory and ideals of one of America’s greatest First Ladies and one of new York State’s outstanding political leaders, (ii) To provide unique opportunities to the women of New York State including, but not limited to, distinguished lecture series, seminars, and special leadership- and skills-development sessions in various locales across New York State.

The corporation does not make contributions to political candidates and does not engage in campaign activities on behalf of any candidate or political party. Contributions to the ERCC are not tax-deductible for federal or state income tax purposes.
